How to show or hide tools in the InboxCRM sidebar

Menu Features is a small window with one switch per tool. Turn a switch off to hide that tool's icon from the InboxCRM sidebar in WhatsApp Web, or click "Open" to jump straight into the tool.

Who this guide is for

Anyone who only uses part of InboxCRM. A shop that only needs the CRM board and quick replies can hide the rest, so the sidebar shows just the icons they click every day. It also helps when you train a staff member and want fewer choices on screen.

Before you start

  • InboxCRM is installed and WhatsApp Web is open in Chrome.
  • The InboxCRM sidebar is visible on the left side of WhatsApp Web.

Step by step

    Open Menu Features

    In the InboxCRM sidebar, click the sliders icon labelled "Menu features". It sits near the bottom, just above "Settings". A window titled "Menu Features" opens over WhatsApp Web.

    Review the list of tools

    Each row shows a tool, an "Open" button and a switch. The tools are "CRM", Campaigns, "Quick Replies", "Scheduling Center", "Flow", "CRM Funnel", "Auto Service", "Follow Up", "Dashboard" and "Notifications". All switches are on by default.

    Hide a tool you don't use

    Flip a tool's switch off. Its icon disappears from the sidebar straight away. You don't need to save or reload the page.

    Bring a tool back

    Open "Menu features" again and flip the switch back on. The icon returns to its usual place in the sidebar.

    Open a tool from the list

    Click "Open" on any row to open that tool's page in a new browser tab. This works even when the tool is hidden from the sidebar.

    Close the window

    Click the close (X) button in the top corner, or click the dimmed area outside the window. Your choices are already saved.

Tips

  • Hiding an icon only changes the sidebar. It does not switch the tool off. Active Auto-attendance rules, Follow-up rules and Chatbot Flows keep running even when their icons are hidden. To stop an automation, turn off its rules inside the tool.
  • "Auto Service" in this list is the Auto-attendance tool, and "Flow" is Chatbot Flows (shown as "Workflows" in the sidebar).
  • Chat backup, Privacy blur, Menu features and Settings are not in the list, so they always stay in the sidebar. You can always get back to this window.
  • Hidden tools are still one click away through "Open", so hiding something rarely used costs you very little.

Troubleshooting

I can't find a tool in the sidebar anymore.

It was probably switched off. Click "Menu features" and check the tool's switch. Turn it on and the icon comes back.

I hid Auto Service, but customers still get automatic replies.

That is expected. Hiding only removes the icon. Click "Open" next to "Auto Service" and untick the rules you want to stop.

A whole group of icons disappeared.

When every tool in a sidebar group is switched off, the group is hidden too. Turn on any one of those tools to show the group again.

Questions

Does hiding a tool delete its data?

No. Your boards, rules, flows and other data stay where they are. Only the sidebar icon is hidden.

Where are my Menu Features choices saved?

They are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) on this computer. Another computer keeps its own settings.

Can I hide Settings or Menu features?

No. Those two, plus Chat backup and Privacy blur, are not in the list and always stay visible.

    Menu Features open කරන්න

    InboxCRM sidebar එකේ "Menu features" කියන sliders icon එක click කරන්න. ඒක තියෙන්නේ පහළට වෙන්න, "Settings" එකට උඩින්. WhatsApp Web උඩින් "Menu Features" කියන window එකක් open වෙනවා.

    හැම row එකකම tool එකක්, "Open" button එකක් සහ switch එකක් තියෙනවා. tools තමයි "CRM", Campaigns, "Quick Replies", "Scheduling Center", "Flow", "CRM Funnel", "Auto Service", "Follow Up", "Dashboard", "Notifications". default විදිහට හැම switch එකක්ම on.

    Use නොකරන tool එකක් හංගන්න

    tool එකේ switch එක off කරන්න. ඒකේ icon එක sidebar එකෙන් ඒ වෙලාවෙම නැති වෙනවා. save කරන්නවත් page එක reload කරන්නවත් ඕන නෑ.

    Tool එකක් ආයෙත් ගේන්න

    "Menu features" ආයෙත් open කරලා switch එක ආයෙත් on කරන්න. icon එක sidebar එකේ සාමාන්‍ය තැනට ආයෙත් එනවා.

    List එකෙන් tool එකක් open කරන්න

    ඕන row එකක "Open" click කරලා ඒ tool එකේ page එක අලුත් browser tab එකක open කරන්න. tool එක sidebar එකෙන් හංගලා තිබුණත් මේක වැඩ කරනවා.

    Window එක close කරන්න

    උඩ කොනේ තියෙන close (X) button එක click කරන්න, නැත්නම් window එකෙන් එළියේ තියෙන අඳුරු තැන click කරන්න. ඔබේ තේරීම් දැනටමත් save වෙලා.

Tips

  • icon එකක් හංගන එකෙන් වෙනස් වෙන්නේ sidebar එක විතරයි. tool එක off වෙන්නේ නෑ. icons හංගලා තිබුණත් active Auto-attendance rules, Follow-up rules සහ Chatbot Flows දිගටම run වෙනවා. automation එකක් නවත්තන්න ඕන නම් tool එක ඇතුළේ ඒකේ rules off කරන්න.
  • මේ list එකේ "Auto Service" කියන්නේ Auto-attendance tool එක, "Flow" කියන්නේ Chatbot Flows (sidebar එකේ "Workflows" විදිහට පේනවා).

ගැටලු විසඳීම

Sidebar එකේ tool එකක් හොයාගන්න බෑ.

බොහෝ විට ඒක off කරලා. "Menu features" click කරලා tool එකේ switch එක බලන්න. on කළාම icon එක ආයෙත් එනවා.

මම Auto Service හැංගුවා, ඒත් customers ලට තාම automatic replies යනවා.

ඒක සාමාන්‍යයි. හංගන එකෙන් අයින් වෙන්නේ icon එක විතරයි. "Auto Service" ළඟ "Open" click කරලා නවත්තන්න ඕන rules untick කරන්න.

Icons group එකක්ම නැති වුණා.

sidebar group එකක තියෙන හැම tool එකක්ම off කළාම, ඒ group එකත් හැංගෙනවා. group එක ආයෙත් පෙන්නන්න ඒ tools වලින් එකක් on කරන්න.

Tool එකක් හංගුවම ඒකේ data delete වෙනවද?

නෑ. ඔබේ boards, rules, flows සහ අනිත් data තිබුණු තැනමයි. හැංගෙන්නේ sidebar icon එක විතරයි.

මගේ Menu Features තේරීම් save වෙන්නේ කොහෙද?

මේ computer එකේ browser එකේ local විදිහට (chrome.storage.local) save වෙනවා. වෙන computer එකක ඒකටම වෙනම settings තියෙනවා.

Settings හෝ Menu features හංගන්න පුළුවන්ද?
